Sunflower Sessions

The sunflowers are the perfect backdrop for some family portraits. The children love all the colours and exploring the fields. There are a variety of photo opportunities on the farm which include tractors, viewing points, piano's, baths and the beautiful wildflowers are also a favourite.

Due to busy family life, I have very limited spaces this August.
​
There are two Hampshire locations to use this year, Sam's Sunflowers in Hayling Island and Silkstead, just outside Winchester. They are both stunning locations and you can make it into a really fun outing for the family.
* Please note that wildflowers are only available at Sam's sunflowers.

Like all my seasonal sessions, these are always really popular so reserve your session asap. These shoots are great for children, families, couples, maternity and more.

full payment is required to reserve your session.

*you will need to pay the entrance fee to the farm on arrival. Last year it was £6 per adult and children were free.

You'll also receive a pre-shoot questionnaire to help me get to know you before your session. I pride myself on building a quick rapport with you and your children in order to get the best from you in front of the camera.

FAQ's
​
What if it rains?
Unless it is torrential rain then we can usually shoot between showers and wait for the rain to pass (it usually does). I leave plenty of time between shoots to be flexible.
​
What if the sunflowers come to the end of their life?
If a shoot can't go ahead due to the farm itself closing for the year then you can have a full refund or a family shoot at a location of your choosing (*to use within 3 months, location to be agreed).
​
What if my child doesn't 'perform'?
Parents can often leave a shoot worried that I didn't get any 'good ones', but I promise, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Children may take some warming up, I have years of experience working with children and will pull out all the stops to get the shot.
​
How much is it for a larger family?
If you want to include the grandparents or aunts, uncles and cousins, it is £15 per person. But bear in mind that you may not get as much variety within the 30 mins the more people there are.
